Data collection, processing and use
GGW only collects personal data necessary for it to carry out its services. Visitors to the website are informed whenever they submit data, to the extent that personal data are involved. In order to be able to improve the GGW Internet offering in specific areas, data on the use of the GGW Internet offering will be collected in anonymous form. These data are used for purely statistical purposes. The processing and use of personal data is only done with the express consent of the client.
Once consent is given, it may be revoked at any time effective in the future. Data will not be passed on to third parties outside the GGW Group unless urgently required for the fulfilment of the requested service as might be the case with cooperating partners and/or insurance companies in connection with the development of insurance quotations.
The information collected on this website will be passed on to the responsible location within the GGW Group. It will be stored with the legally responsible person. Personal data will only be saved for the purpose for which it was collected.

GGW does not publish any addresses for advertising purposes. Addresses are only passed on with the express consent of the client.
All of our employees are bound by a duty of confidentiality as required by German Data Protection Law.
Filing a claim
Statements that you make when filing an insurance claim will be recorded in an internal GGW document that will be used in the preparation of a claim report or to contact you or the client. If you file a claim with GGW via the claims template provided online or via your private e-mail account, please note that because of the technical structure of the Internet and the fact that GGW uses an independent Internet service provider, GGW is unable to guarantee the error-free transmission of the data.
Security and transmission of data
In order to protect your data from unauthorised access, improper usage, destruction or loss, they are subject to extensive internal security measures that comply with current technology. At the same time, GGW cannot guarantee that the data you enter and send to us will reach us, since we depend on the services of third parties for this. GGW accepts no responsibility for those service providers.
If, when accessing GGW’s Internet offering, the user requests services that require the entry of personal data, such data will be securely transmitted at all times. In doing so, GGW utilises such methods as are regarded as secure at the time and meet the recommendations of the Federal Office of Security in Information Technology (BSI). By using the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) transmission protocol, the user’s sensitive data are protected against unauthorised access.
Use of cookies
A cookie is a data element that a website can send to your browser in order to have it saved on your system and thus adjust information from our website to meet your needs.
You have the option of setting your browser in such a way that cookies are either not accepted or the receipt of cookies is reported. If the latter case, you can then decide whether to accept the cookie or not. Your privacy is thus remains protected.
The GGW Group does not use cookies.
